Hi! I have three daughters a 4.5 year old, and twin 20 month old girls. Our photographer we’ve been w since my twins were a couple months old job st relocated to Colorado (and broke my heart) and we have been in the market for a new photographer. I typically love to get pics done 1-2 times a year. Once every year for sure at the park w the old houses by the butterfly house? Not sure if you know it? It’s a very cool time line thing since my twins and older daughter were there for the first shoot of them all. Our photographer travels here every few months but it’s been difficult to catch him at the right time. One of my twins has a very rare condition called progressive early onset scoliosis. It’s a dangerous form that only affects 1 in 10,000 children that are btwn the ages of newborn and 3 years old. We are trying non surgical options right now, which means a full upper body cast. It’s plaster. It’s not cute. It’s hard and uncomfortable and goes from her hips to just below her neck and she’s in it for 8-10 weeks w only 1 week out each time. I’m relating all of this bc we know that doing 3 young kids is difficult. Twins can be even more challenging. We prefer McKenna’s portraits to be out of cast, not because we are ashamed or superficial but because if we can escape surgery or not, I want her to look back on her life and know that she is more than a spine. And I think it is hard to do that if all your pictures from infancy on you are in a cast. However sometimes she will be in a cast. And that means that as sweet and absolutely loving as she is she will have days where it’s a struggle bc she’s in pain. And I’d rather be up front about that. Kids w medical conditions are a different kind of challenge, and I always try to ensure that everyone in her life is comfortable with that. If you would be interested, I would love to hear what your rates are? We are usually fast, I’m a former portrait studio girl so I’m very used to moving and assisting and I like to get in and out w babies before they lose it. We also prefer digital images and no prints.

We are not planning on needing anything this year I don’t believe as our family photographer is flying in come June and will do their session while here. But I’m always looking at next year!

    Thank you for your time!
